Over ten years working throughout Africa, the Middle East and North America, as a photojournalist, currently represented by Redux Pictures (since 2006), specializing in and passionate about, difficult-to-access regions and countries and the ensuing and many times, under-covered issues.

I’ve traveled to over 60 countries and through that time, have worked in over 25 refugee camps, six conflict zones, four rebel controlled territories, and worked on over 75 human-interest, foreign policy, travel, energy, business, conflict and general news reportage stories. My photographs have appeared in books, magazines and newspapers worldwide including The New York Times, National Geographic Traveler, BBC, and Smithsonian Magazine. I've also worked closely with the WFP and many other NGO's.

Micah’s west coast roots have given him a love for the outdoors and he enjoys spending time in it with his wife and daughter. He’s obsessed with roots Americana music and cooking for people that like to eat.
