I work exhaustively as a photojournalist to create deeply intimate images in some of the most difficult-to-access locations on the planet. Much happens long before the click of the shutter. People often ask, how I get these photos. The bottom line is this; I respect all people. I spend a lot of time getting to know people, long before the camera comes out of my bag. I consider it an honor for families' to invite me into there home and to capture their plight - to hear there journey and to share a meal.
At the end of the day, I really want to encapsulate a person, situation or family as both journalistically true and impressionistic in nature; capturing fleeting moments that resonate true when your close your eyes and imagine.
Here is what I believe is important for you on this day
For you to be still enough to truly absorb
To trust that I'm capturing moments as they happen and not worry about a shot list
To celebrate and know that at the end of the day your will be husband and wife
