Algeria Polaroids

I have recently returned from southern Algeria. I ended up doing a side experiment, using my old Polaroid Land Camera.  The boundless desert sands and wandering camels of Southern Algeria mask the evident desperation and urgency of the plight of the "Africa's Last Colony" refugees. Harsh terrain, fatal sandstorms and temperatures of 120 degrees are home to more than 155,000 Sahrawi refugees and have been living since 1975. It’s UNHCR’s second oldest caseload.
