Where the Road Ends and the Desert Begins

Baja has always felt like the kind of place you don’t just visit—you return to. Over the years, I’ve come back again and again, chasing long dirt roads that lead to wild beaches, peeling point breaks, and the kind of quiet you only find where the pavement gives up.

I’ve spent many years working with and for musician Roger Clyne, whose deep love for Baja shaped much of my early time here. Those experiences—traveling with the band, photographing their shows and the dusty towns in between—taught me how to see Baja not as a backdrop, but as a living, breathing character in the story.
